Polyferric sulfate application
Polyferric sulfate is a superior, high-efficacy ferric salt inorganic polymer flocculant, chiefly used for excellent water purification, with excellent water quality, devoid of harmful substances such as aluminum and chlorides, and also without iron ion transfer. It's harmless, secure, and highly effective in clarifying, decolorizing, deoiling, dehydrating, sterilizing, deodorizing, algae removal, COD, BOD, and heavy metal ion removal. It's also utilized in industrial wastewater treatment, such as dyeing wastewater, and has extensive applications in foundry, papermaking, medicine, leather processing, etc.
Polyferric sulfate utilizes a combination of dielectric electrophoresis technology and membrane separation technology for wastewater reuse treatment, achieving innovative wastewater treatment technology and scientific advancement, optimizing equipment investment and operation efficiency, aligning with China's national conditions, and complying with the characteristics of Inner Mongolia Autonomous Region's new wastewater treatment technology, polyferric sulfate technology, and new equipment. If widely adopted, it will enhance the treatment and disposal level of industrial wastewater in mining enterprises in the region, further protect and improve the ecological environment, and promote sustainable economic, social, and environmental development in the region.
Industrial wastewater treatment
1. Dyeing wastewater treatment: Replaces traditional low molecular weight iron salt and aluminum salt coagulants, with advantages of lower dosage, higher coagulation efficiency, and no secondary pollution caused by aluminum ions. The optimal pH value is 8.0, with a dosage of about 150 ppm.
2. Electroplating wastewater treatment: Can be used as a coagulant and complex breaker. The complex mainly consists of copper-ammonia complex, which is stable at pH = 11 and difficult to precipitate directly with alkaline and polyaluminum coagulants. It can also be used for wastewater reuse.
3. Papermaking wastewater treatment: Replaces polyaluminum chloride and sulfuric acid aluminum, used as a coagulant, and can also be used for paper sludge dewatering. In the white water recovery process of papermaking wastewater treatment, polyferric sulfate (a cationic polymer) cannot be used, only polyaluminum chloride can be used.
